The cellar

Beautifully matured wines await at the Cave Barberon tucked away in a side street just footsteps away from the food famous rue Mouffetard. Burnished wood wines cases are filled with fine selections from France’s major wine growing regions, Burgundy, Champagne country, the Loire, Bordeaux, the Rhone Valley and beyond. Peruse the house’s handwritten wine registers bursting with grands crus and vintages that have always been the hallmarks of the cellar, a favorite with connaisseurs for over 50 years.  The shop’s owner, Jeremie Barberon, is at the helm of this unique collection of wines curating it and making astuce additions to it while offering friendly advice to any and all who come through the shop’s door, for here you will find wines that you will find no where else. In addition to the fine wines and champagnes, the shop plays host to myriad ports, wonderful whiskies, distinguished Cognacs, an astonishing array of Armagnacs and more.
